Hot dip galvanized sheet is hot-rolled galvanized sheet, and cold dip galvanized sheet is cold-rolled galvanized sheet In terms of materials, the composition of the two types of galvanized sheets is basically similar The difference is that cold galvanized sheet is thinner than hot-dip galvanized sheet, with better surface quality and more complex processes, resulting in higher prices
From a technological perspective, steel is produced by hot rolling cast billets into plates of a certain thickness, such as around 10mm. If users do not have higher requirements for the surface, thickness, and mechanical strength of the plates, they can proceed with finished product processing, such as galvanizing, and sell them directly as hot plates If there are higher requirements for the plate, then the hot-rolled plate is sent to the cold rolling line for further processing. After acid washing, annealing, and re rolling, the Cold-rolled plate is obtained with thinner, smoother surface, and better mechanical properties.
