Steel Base (DX51D): The core material is a cold-forming grade steel according to the European standard EN 103465.
"D" signifies it is a steel intended for cold forming.
"X" indicates a low-carbon steel base.
"51" denotes the quality grade, identifying it as suitable for general-purpose forming applications where good surface quality is important59.
Galvanization (+Z): The DX51D steel substrate undergoes a hot-dip galvanizing process. It is immersed in a bath of molten zinc, creating a metallurgically bonded zinc coating that provides cathodic protection to the underlying steel. The notation "+Z" signifies this pure zinc coating5. Common coating weights include Z60, Z100, Z180, Z200, and Z275, where the number represents the minimum dual-side coating mass in grams per square meter (g/m²)510. A higher number indicates a thicker zinc layer and longer corrosion resistance.
Pre-Painting (Coating): The galvanized coil is then cleaned, treated, and painted in a continuous line. This typically involves a double painting and double baking process to ensure adhesion and durability67. Various coating types are available, such as:
PE (Polyester): A standard, cost-effective coating with good durability and color retention26.

2 Key Features and Advantages
